Employee Feedback
Kane Milligan

I started with the company back in October 2011 as part of Claims Advisory Group. My initial plans were to do 6 months and try to progress within the company. I had been told about the company by a friend and heard about the opportunities for development within the company. I was sceptical at first and kept my head down and hit my targets each month, but after sitting down and chatting with George Eastham, he gave me the opportunity to progress and felt I had the skills to become a manager. I was placed into an acting Assistant Manager (ASM) role and enrolled onto the senior advisor programme. This was a huge learning curve for me as I had never done anything like this previously.

After 2 months, I was given my own team due to a manager leaving the business. This was a great step up for me and gave me an insight into what management entails. I passed the senior advisor programme and completed the assessment centre in July 2012. After passing, I was given the ASM role full time. I worked across 2 different departments (Client Services and Sales) and then took the manager assessment centre in September 2013. I failed the presentation stage on this occasion but was given the chance to retake in December 2013. I passed the assessment this time round with the highest score out of the other ASM’s. I was then given the Team Manager role full time and passed my probation.

I have then been in this position since working across Claims Advisory Group, Gordon Lockwood and Ascend and I am currently progressing to become an Senior Team Manager.

I started working with the business as an Apprentice after finishing college, and after completing my NVQ I was taken on as a full time Sales agent. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience from this role, and was later offered an opportunity to work within the Complaints Department. After gaining more in depth knowledge I then moved to the Quality Department as the Quality Assistant Manager.

It’s been great to work for Manchester Outsourcing as I’ve learned so much and have been given so many great opportunities to progress - and the people I work with are brilliant! From starting out fresh from college to working my way up to being an assistant manager has been great!

Chris Newton

I have worked for Manchester Outsourcing (or companies in the Group) for nearly 6 years now, and I started my sales career as an agent on the phones. Through the support and training provided by the business, I have been promoted through Assistant Manager and to Team Manager, and am now in charge of growing the part of the business which could be the future of our company.

Manchester Outsourcing is a vibrant and energetic business, full of passionate people, and this makes it a very rewarding and enjoyable place to work.

I started working for the company almost 4 years ago as a client services advisor. Since then, I have undertaken multiple development courses to help progress my career and have now progressed into a Team Manager position. When I started with the company I was still unsure of what job I wanted to do long-term, but now I have been given the opportunity within MO to build a career.

I enjoy working for Manchester Outsourcing because the company invests time in people to allow them to progress as individuals and also give you the necessary support to help you succeed regardless of your job role.  It is also a very lively and fun place to work with fantastic benefits.

Sue Murphy

I joined Manchester Outsourcing nearly 6 years ago (even though it doesn’t feel that long), working in the administration dept. After a year of being with the company I joined the HR dept, whilst I have been in HR I have been on numerous courses to further develop my skills and knowledge.

Manchester Outsourcing is an enjoyable place to work, the company is always looking at new ways to improve things for the staff.

Claire Morrisey

I started working for Manchester Outsourcing six years ago as a Quality Assessor and have progressed within the company since then, becoming the Complaints Manager and now a Relationship Manager.
